Save the date: S&T Industry Day 2016

Missouri S&T's inaugural industry day will be held Oct. 13, 2016, to showcase campus research centers and capabilities. You will have the opportunity to hear from corporate leaders, renowned faculty, and students on the benefits of a research partnership with Missouri S&T and tour our lab facilities here on campus. You can find out more and register here.

Research highlight: Microgrid Consortium

Missouri S&T has formed an industrial research consortium that will leverage state-of-the-art facilities, advanced research capabilities, and industry expertise to investigate the opportunities and challenges presented by micro grids. The current industry and government agency members are Ameren; Azimuth Energy; Doe Run; Missouri Public Utility Alliance (MPUA); and the Missouri Department of Economic Development, Division of Energy. Missouri S&T brings a wealth of research knowledge and technical expertise to the consortium membership.

The new consortium will build upon the success of the Solar Village Microgrid partnership that created a unique research asset on the Missouri S&T campus. A new development, the S&T EcoVillage, provides an ideal site and opportunity to demonstrate new microgrid technologies.
